Gluteal Soreness Improvement - Supports Reduction of Discomfort Post-Gluteal workout

Method

The gluteal muscles are posterior hip and thigh muscles. This muscle group consists of the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus and tensor fasciae latae. These four muscles fill the gluteal (buttock) region and provide it with shape and form. The gluteal was specifically studied in a DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) trial using Aquaturm®. 20 healthy subjects in two subsets completed the study. Group 1 subjects took AquaTurm® for 2 days within 6 hours prior to workout. An additional 10 subjects took a placebo at the same time. Both groups did eccentric exercises intensively. Subjects were evaluated by a physician at hour 0 (baseline), 6 hour, 24 and 48 hours post workout. Measurement of tenderness was done via the VAS scale, a science-based discomfort methodology.

Outcomes

  • Reduction of Gluteal soreness by 50% withing the first 24 hours
  • Gluteal soreness was significantly eliminated withing 48 hours
  • The Placibo continued with soreness even after 2 days post workout.

Method

Single-leg Squat Soreness Improvement - Supports Reduction of Discomfort Post Single-leg squat workout

Method

AquaTurm was specifically studied in a DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) trial. 20 healthy subjects in two subsets completed the study. Group 1 subjects took AquaTurm® for 2 days within 6 hours prior to workout. An additional 10 subjects took a placebo at the same time. Outcomes

  • Muscle soreness from Single-leg squat exercises reduced from 21 to 2 in the first 48 hours using AquaTurm compared to Placebo which went from 25 to 9, based on VAS (Visual analog scale) method
  • Significant alleviation of symptoms of DOMS with the use of AquaTurm compared to Placebo.

Walking Downstairs Soreness Improvement - Supports Reduction of Discomfort for muscle soreness involved in Walking downstairs

Method

Walking downstairs uses some major lower body muscles, which were specifically studied in a DOMS trial using Aquaturm®. 20 healthy subjects in two subsets completed the study. Group 1 subjects took Aquaturm® for 2 days 6 hours prior to workout. An additional 10 subjects took a placebo at the same time. Both groups did eccentric exercises intensively. Subjects were evaluated by a physician at hour 0 (baseline), 6 hour, 24 and 48 hours post workout. Measurement of soreness was done via the VAS scale, a science-based discomfort methodology.

Outcomes

  • Promotes healing of post workout soreness of muscles involved in walking downstairs within 48 hours.
  • Increased performance in the following strenuous exercise.
  • Significant difference in post workout healing compared to placebo.

Single-Leg Vertical Jump Soreness Improvement - Supports Reduction of Discomfort in Single Leg Vertical Jump

Method

Single-leg vertical jump exercise was specifically studied in a DOMS trial using Aquaturm®. The study wanted to measure if there was an improvement in jump performance compared to Placebo. 20 healthy subjects in two subsets completed the study. Group 1 subjects took AquaTurm® for 2 days, 6 hours prior to workout. An additional 10 subjects took a placebo at the same time. Both groups did eccentric exercises intensively. Subjects were evaluated by a physician at hour 0 (baseline), 6 hour, 24 and 48 hours post workout. Measurement of soreness was done via the VAS scale, a science-based discomfort methodology.

Outcomes

  • Usage of Aquaturm® alleviates soreness after single leg vertical jump exercises and reduces the VAS score by almost 50% in the first 24 hours.
  • Supports a healthy post workout post inflammatory response and soreness
  • Statistically significant increase in average single leg vertical squat jump was reported in the Aquaturm® group at 24 and 48 hours after baseline visit compared to the Placebo group

Knee Joint Discomfort Improvement - Human Clinical Study

Method

A Total of 21 participants both male and female, aged 30-65 all experienced knee discomfort, and traditionally require use of allopathic support. Participants consume Aquaturm® twice a day for 90 days for a total daily dosage of 900mg/day.

Outcomes

  • Results show a reduction of knee joint discomfort via the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), an internationally recognized scale over the course of 3 months.
  • Reduction of bone-joint discomfort via another scientific index, the WOMAC Index.
  • Improvement of knee joint discomfort sub-score, stiffness sub-score, physical function sub-score
